Work Family and Education rounded out this past March, from your local Realtor Andy Eckert

This past month has been filled with Family, Work and Education.

Steph and I made a trip to visit Olivia at school after we returned from Mexico for her 23rd birthday, this trip consisted of driving down in the morning, eating lunch, shopping and getting her car drivable enough to get home to get worked on. Thank goodness she was able to come home for a few days during spring break to decompress and for us to enjoy her.  Russell is Olivia’s friend from school who didn’t have the family experience she has and traveled home with her. Russell is a nice young man looking for a place to call home and people he can bond to. I have   enjoyed the time he spends with us as he seems to enjoy us, but thinks our town of Huntington needs to be a little livelier. I hope Russell considers our home is his home away from school, because he is always welcome.

Sebastian decided a few months ago to take a spring break trip with some friends and just a few days before they were to leave the friends made   other plans leaving him by himself. Sebastian looking at the glass as half full loaded up his car and headed south. I pride myself on his fear no evil attitude but sometimes he leaves me scratching my head. He posted videos during his trip sharing with us his experiences, which I found interesting.  I just hope the next trip he takes there are people traveling with him.

Aleah finished up her gymnastic career at HGA and will be moving up to the High School level of competition next winter; this was a day I thought was a long way off. I have kept my nose to the grindstone working these Past few years trying to build my brand and I have missed too much of her participating in sports and school programs. Of all of my regrets this is my biggest, I’m sorry kiddo. Aleah will be making her confirmation this spring, which is a big deal in the Catholic faith. This process allows these kids the opportunity to grow up to make the decision to continue to      practice their faith. Aleah has taken this very serious and from my perspective has succeeded in large way. Charity seems to inspire her and helping others is a joy. This makes her Dad proud.

Steph agreed to put Easter Dinner on at our place this year knowing I would be out of town all week. I look forward to all of us coming together to celebrate the most incredible gift known to man.

Take Care but don’t get caught….
